At the National 4-H Youth Summit on Agri-Science, high school students develop the skills and knowledge needed for the challenges facing agriculture, food security, and sustainability. Students will work with each other and experts in the agricultural community in the collaborative, hands-on educational setting. The delegation will consist of 20 youth and 4 chaperones (Rutgers 4-H Staff and Volunteers).
Cost
The Department of 4-H Youth Development at Rutgers has been awarded funding from multiple sources including USDA and National 4-H Council to offset the cost of registration. Each youth will be responsible for paying $50 which will include transportation, lodging, meals and all supplies needed for the 4 day experience.
