Planet Earth deserves more than one day of recognition, so join fellow nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts each week this April to celebrate all things green for Earth Day.
April 1 - Somerset County Parks Naturalist: Butterfly Basics
April 8 - Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ, Local Wildlife and the Threats They Face
April 15 - Duke Farms: Educator Presenting Live from the Farm
April 22 - Rutgers Dept. of Marine & Coastal Science Research: Antarctica, Penguins, and Microplastics
From tiny organisms to entire ecosystems, come along as we explore the wonders of plants, animals, oceans, and forests all right here on our very own planet earth. But it needs our help, so learn how to do your part in protecting our home. Geared toward youth in 2nd- 5th grades. Sessions will run Thursday afternoons from 3:00-4:00pm (April 1, 8, 15, 22) ending on Earth Day!
